Southern Conference Team Head Coach

Northern United Sports Club is looking for an experienced and dynamic coach to lead our Men’s first team in 2026.

We are looking for a Senior Head coach to take us forward, with a restructured Northern League proposed for 2027, while also aligning with our youth development programme. The successful applicant will be responsible for all aspects of the club's senior programme, from creating a successful first team to aligning with the overall club development pathway.

We are looking for motivated people to fill two senior coaching roles for the 2026 season.

Senior Men’s U23 Coach: Matamata Swifts AFC is seeking a committed and technically confident coach to lead our Under 23 Men’s team as part of our senior men’s Lotto NRFL Southern Conference coaching team.
Senior Women’s Head Coach: Matamata Swifts AFC is seeking an experienced and confident coach to lead our Senior Women’s 1st Team and drive the ongoing growth of female football in our community.

Northern United Girls Football 2026 – Bigger, Bolder, and Ready to Kick Off!

After an outstanding season celebrating the talent and growth of our girls and women’s football teams, we’re gearing up for an even bigger 2026 — and we want you on the journey!

We’re expanding skills development, strengthening player pathways, and creating more opportunities for girls to thrive on and off the pitch.

Term 4 Girls-Only Academy Skills Development Program and U13 and U15 league trials

Dates for girls aged 11 to 16:

Wednesday 5 November 5 to December 10 (5pm).

Registration Information:

A registration fee of $100 per participant applies to these sessions, which covers:

NUSC Navy Training Shirt.
Access to specialist coaching from experienced professionals, including Che Bunce and Scott Granville.
Field hire and associated costs.

If a participant already owns a NUSC Academy training shirt, the fee is reduced to $80. To register for this program, please complete HERE.
