Please see below information regarding Term 1 Futsal leagues being run in Waikato and Western Bay of Plenty. Returning teams may be given priority. WaiBOP Futsal reserves the right to decline team entry. Please scroll down for dates.

​​​​​​​Players will need to be playing in these leagues during Term 1 or Term 4 2024 to be eligible for Youth Futsal Champs in 2024.

2. All Northern United players and teams must register through Northern United Sports Club Futsal.

Western Bay Of Plenty 

We've finally been able to confirm dates with Bay Venues for our Futsal Leagues - a process which started back in September 2023. Due to venue availability we've had to shorten the leagues to 5-weeks (the Futsal Men's Premiership is 6-weeks). The Premier Senior High School Girls League will now be played on the community court.

This term an U9 Mixed & U11 Girls Skill Centre will again be held to help build numbers in these age groups.  We are taking individual registration for this (the Skill Centre replaces the U9 Mixed & U11 Girls leagues this term).

Key Format, Rules & Regulations:

• All players MUST wear shin pads.
• All Junior High School and above players (including Senior Men) MUST be registered to your team by the Thursday before the first game of the league. No players can be added to these teams after week 5 of the futsal season.
• The team fee must be paid prior to the league closing date. Teams will not be entered into leagues unless full payment has been received.
• All league games will be played in a 45 minute slot each week, games will be 18 minutes each way, with a 2 minute half time and 5 minutes between games, unless otherwise advised.
• All players in your team must wear the same colour playing shirt, except for the goalkeeper who must either wear a different coloured shirt or a bib. Premiership senior league players must wear numbered matching kit.
