Skill Centres

WaiBOP Skill Centres will introduce young players, both male and female, to the greatest game in the world. We will excite them with fun and enjoyable games based exercises that place emphasis on player centred learning, providing them with opportunities to achieve success in all areas of the game.

The programme is organised into eight week teaching blocks. Conducted by New Zealand Football qualified coaches and overseen by the federations Football Development Officers, each block offers every child a once-weekly 60 minute session. Players that excel in the community programme may be provided with an opportunity to join their local representative programme.
