WaiBOP has suffered two heavy defeats against Capital Football in their Labour Weekend double header. Saturday's match at Cambridge ended 5-0 to the visitors, before the return fixture finished with an even more comprehensive score line of 8-0 to the Wellingtonians.

Capital struck early in both games, then went from strength to strength. The weekend's first match saw the visitors score twice in the opening eight minutes before an extended even period of play saw WaiBOP come back into it. But Capital's eye for goal saw them ease to victory in the second half.

Monday's game was almost the reverse as Capital scored an emphatic seven goals inside the first 52 minutes before capping their scoring in added time.
