Club presidents, chairs and secretaries, We're well underway with preparations for the 2026 football season. With the move to Sporty as well as the WOF 2.0 changes happening this year, we all have new systems and processes to learn. We do thank everyone for the additional work required to open registrations this year in a new system. This Club Update is an overview of information that's been communicated to a range of club contacts over the last month. |

Sporty MyFootball Manager This SPORTY mobile app is how coaches and managers submit team lists and score matches live - every team will need to use it to submit results this year. Upcoming fixtures are pre-loaded, and players are drawn from your club's squad / catalogue in Sporty TeamBuilder. MyFootball Manager workshops Learn how to use the app - this workshop is for coaches, managers, scorers and anyone else that needs to know how to use it this season. 6pm Wednesday 25 March – register here Find out more about the My Football Manager app here https://www.myfootball.co.nz/myfootball-manager-app/myfootball-manager-app Download on App Store | Download on Google Play Register coaches and volunteers We want to highlight two forms that will help you organise and communicate with these important club members. With SPORTY, you can keep track of: - Coach roles, certificates, contact details and eligibility
- Administrators and volunteers, including club-based referees, team managers and assistants, medical or physios etc
This data also means WaiBOP will be able to communicate offers, training or updates relevant to their roles with these important folks. You’ll see these forms when you log on to SPORTY - read the full guide to SPORTY forms to understand the new capability. Remember myfootball.co.nz is your one stop shop for SPORTY support |

Download the letter template here, and personalise it to your club’s needs and situation. For more information: https://www.waibopfootball.co.nz/whole-of-football-2 We've created a series of graphics explaining the new format. They can be downloaded here.
