We are MANTICS, a pop rock band based in Auckland, and looking to ‘give back’ to the football community during 2025 through a dedicated football club fundraising tour.
Why a Football Club tour?
MANTICS originated from friendships forged through football connections. It all began with us being fathers of young players offering support from the sidelines, evolving into the ‘Terriers’ team playing for our local club in the NRF Masters League. We later encountered Jake at Body Workshop while attending to injuries from our various football escapades. As it turned out, Jake was the ideal bass player to complete our lineup and thus, MANTICS (the antics that ensue when manpanions come together...) was formed.
Shared passion for live music and the Terriers football team has played a crucial role in both the physical and mental health of all band members. The benefits and support systems fostered through groups such as bands and football teams are significant and should be nurtured and promoted.
As members of MANTICS we feel particularly fortunate to be part of both, and to celebrate our five new songs prepared for release during 2025 we aim to support the football community and men’s health through a dedicated fundraising tour.
What's in it for your club?
MANTICS take care of all entertainment from headline to support acts, sound and lighting production, ticketing and any give away prizes promoting Men’s Health. The shows will include MANTICS released and unreleased music, along with plenty of classic covers to provide a great night's entertainment.
Profits from ticket sales, raffles and donations from the shows at each participating football club will be allocated for health-related initiatives and go towards covering expenses such as AED maintenance and accessories, First Aid training courses for members, and various health products and resources.
Clubs will be expected to support the promotion of the event through all available marketing channels at their disposal to ensure maximum attendance.
