U10 GIRLS - Mini Football

Last teams playing each Saturday please help the Duty Club by putting away the nets from your field.

There is no football on Kings Birthday, Matariki weekend, or the middle and last weekend of the school holidays. The last game for the season is August 30th, 2025.

U10 Mini Football - Key Points

The Retreating Line rule is introduced, where players must retreat when a goal kick is taken. 

The offside rule is introduced, with offsides from the retreating line

  • Retreating line rule for goal kicks
  • Partial offside rule (between retreating line and goal line)
  • Throw-ins introduced
  • Goal kicks and corner kicks introduced
  • Goalkeeper are introduced. No drop kicks allowed. 
  • Only indirect free kicks are awarded for fouls - see rules for details
  • No published match results or ladders

The draw for the last four weeks of the season will be available on Thursday, 7 August.
