15 women from across our region spent last weekend in Hamilton, participating in a Women’s Leadership course.
The two day course focused on developing skills in communication and leadership, with a strong focus on building connection.
This year’s participants were aged from 17 to 50, with a range of knowledge and experiences to share, from past and present players, coaches, administrators, and others looking to take their first step into volunteering within their club.
Led by skilled facilitator Sarah Leberman (Professor in Leadership in the School of Management at Massey University and co-founder of Women in Sport Aotearoa), the course looks at different models to help understanding yourself and others, identifying and living your values, and working with your strengths and passions
This was the 3rd Regional Women in Leadership course run by WaiBOP Football.
