The finals of both the Miller Cup and the Miller Bowl, the Bay of Plenty men's local league knock-out competitions, were played at Fergusson Park on Saturday. Both matches were tight affairs.

Miller Cup

Tauranga City Relics are have won the innaugural Miller Cup after a 2-1 victory over Whakatane Town in the final. In what was a tight, fiery encounter Tauranga, the 2019 Men's Bay 2 champions, proved that experience still counts for a lot as they had just enough to get past this season's Men's Bay 1 winners.

Miller Bowl

Otumoetai FC Legends needed extra time to get past the Taupo AFC Lakers in Saturday's curtain-raiser. Neither side could find a goal in regulation time as the match ended 0-0 after 90 minutes. Otumoetai managed to find the all important opening goal during extra time, then added a second to ensure they got their names on the Miller Bowl after a 2-0 victory.
