David Douglas - nominated by Neville Fletcher.

"I believe David Douglas at Hamilton Wanderers as an unsung hero. 

"David is President of the club which, with NRFL (men's and women's) and National League, is a 12 month of the year voluntary job. 

"He also coaches his two sons' club teams with one playing on Saturday and one on Sundays. The teams took part in the Weir Rose Bowl tournament and McCartney tournament in Taupo. 

"David is also the goalkeeping coach at the club and, amongst everything he does, he finds time to play on a Saturday for the club's Classics team. 

"The club is very lucky to have someone like David who runs the club in a professional business-like way and can also always have time to have a beer with anyone, no matter what level they play, to discuss anything. 

"I believe he is an unsung hero." 

David receives a $75 meal voucher from The Keg Room.
