Knock-out cups underway for 2023


This weekend sees the first set of games in various national and regional knock-out cup competitions.

In the Chatham Cup, eleven WaiBOP clubs enter at the Preliminary Round stage, which will be played between Saturday and Tuesday (ANZAC Day). Best of luck to Cambridge FC, Waipuna FC, Te Puke United, Ngongotaha Lakes, Plains Rangers, Taupo FC, Matamata Swifts, West Hamilton United, Otorohanga FC, Papamoa FC, Northern United, 

Four clubs kick-off their NZ Football Foundation Kate Sheppard Cup campaigns. Northern United host Melville United, while Waikato Unicol welcome Cambridge, with both matches being played on Sunday.

Tha Waikato Men's Knock-Out Cup & Plate begins with 36 teams taking to the field. Across the Kaimais in the Bay of Plenty, the first round of the Miller Cup & Bowl kicks off with 25 teams entered.
