Last Friday evening Graeme Blake, WaiBOP Football's Game Development Manager, presented Claudelands Rovers with their NZ Football Quality Club Mark 1-Star re-accreditation plaque.
"NZ Football have deemed Rovers to have high integrity and good processes in place. In particular, NZF were pleased to see the high standard of financial management, the initiatives the club is undertaking within the community, and realistic and meaningful objectives for the club," said a statement on Rovers' Facebook page.
"As a large developing club, re-accreditation with the QCM 1-star means we believe in who we are and what we do. It is a significant achievement that can open up a wide range of opportunities for the future of Claudelands Rovers," said Rovers' Christina Pegler after the presentation.
"The QCM 1-Star is a major step for us in achieving the objectives of the club and providing a fun, safe, community focused environment where all football players can thrive.
"The most surprising thing about the accreditation process was the opportunities that it opens up for our club at both local and regional levels."
