On-Field Infringements

On-field infringements are match-related breaches of the rules, including misconduct by players or team officials during a game, eg a card offences,
serious foul play, violent conduct and abusive or offensive language. 

  • Governed by the NZF Disciplinary Code.
  • Managed by the relevant Competition Administrator or Federation Disciplinary, and Ethics Committee or NZF Disciplinary and Ethics Committee.
  • Processes to follow, including who can make a formal protest and when, are outlined in the League Regulations (In the disputes and protests section) ​​​​​​​

A formal appeal or complaint must be made by a club (not an individual)

Off-Field Complaints

  • Governed by the NZF Code of Conduct and NZF Code of Ethics.
  • Has little or no connection to the field of play but connected to football.
  • Could include behaviour (verbal or physical abuse, assault or harassment committed by a player, coach or spectators).

WaiBOP Incident Register

The Incident Register is not an official complaint. It is a way of formally letting WaiBOP know of incidents and issues that have happened in WaiBOP Football competitions.

Report an incident here

These may include, but are not limited to: 

  • Issues with Grounds (mowing, line marking, goal posts).
  • Facilities (changing rooms, parking, access).
  • Concussion (suspected or diagnosed).
  • Injury (requiring ambulance or further medical treatment).
