Entries are now open for the U13 Girls Football Festival Battle of the Kaimais.

This festival is all about creating a fun, positive, and engaging environment for our U13 girls to play, connect, and enjoy their football. It’s a great opportunity for teams to experience a festival-style game day focused on development, enjoyment, and love of the game.

Date: Sunday 2nd August 2026

Venue: Discovery Park, Hamilton

Kick Off: 10:00am

Coaches/Managers Meeting: 9:15am

Entry is free, and is open to all U13 girls teams in our Federation.

⚽ Format & Expectations

• 9v9
• Games will be 30 minutes (15min halves with a 5-minute halftime)
• This is a festival day – no overall winner 
• The focus is on participation, development, and enjoyment

Match Details:

• Home team (first listed) provides a size 4 match ball
• All teams are expected to support a positive sideline environment
• Poor behaviour towards referees or players will not be tolerated

⛺ Event Setup

You are welcome to bring a Gazebo, but please:

• Set up gazebos around the outside of the fields only
• Ensure all gazebos are properly secured/weighted for safety

If the event is cancelled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, updates will be posted on the WAIBOP website by 7:00am on game day.
