All the goals needed to implement WOF 2.0 in our region are being provided on a loan basis by WaiBOP Football. There should be no need for Clubs or Schools to buy goals in order to implement the Whole of Football 2.0 changes.
The number of goals needed was determined by an analysis of current playing numbers, current playing fields and goals, and taking account future growth. Playing numbers and growth patterns were determined by registered players in the national registration system (comet) over the last 3 years.
To utilise the collective ordering power of the football system, NZF would like to provide the opportunity for clubs to utilise the discount from Net World Sports for goal needs over and above those being purchased by NZF/WaiBOP Football for WOF 2.0
There are two ordering deadlines. The first deadline is 26 September, for goals to arrive in time for the start of the 2026 season.
The second deadline is 12 December, giving additional time to secure funding. Goals ordered in December will not arrive before the start of the season.
