Please see below information regarding Term 4, 2026 futsal leagues being run in Waikato and Western Bay of Plenty. Returning teams may be given priority. WaiBOP reserves the right to decline team entry. Please scroll down for dates.

​​​​​​​Players will need to be playing in these leagues during Term 1 or Term 4, 2026 to be eligible for Youth Futsal Champs in 2026.

WAIKATO

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. All Northern United players and teams must register through Northern United Sports Club Futsal.
2. When registering, any teams that are not affiliated to a club or school can select WaiBOP Futsal as their organisation.
3. Closing date for League entries is Friday, September 25 or when leagues are full. Players must be registered individually in teams one week out from the start of competition. Please email cliff.h@waibop.co.nz to be placed on the waiting list for leagues that are full.

BAY OF PLENTY

We are now accepting entries from clubs, as well as other groups and schools in all age groups.

TEAM REGISTRATION & PAYMENT INFORMATION

Team Entry

Teams must complete the relevant online registration form to enter a WaiBOP Futsal competition.

Payment must be received by the relevant registration closing date to confirm your team entry.

Teams will only be formally entered into the competition once payment has been received.

Invoices will be issued to clubs and schools following the close of registrations.

Bank Account: Waikato Bay of Plenty Football. Account #: 12-3171-0183335-00.

When making payment, please use your team name and league as the payment reference.

Important: Bank payments must be made as a full team payment. Individual player payments cannot be made directly into the league account.

PLAYER REGISTRATION

All players must be registered to their team at least two weeks before the competition begins. Once your team has been entered, please share the relevant player registration link with all members of your team.

Players must complete their individual registration before the competition commencement deadline. This can be done by sharing the provided link with your team members for registration.

TEAM GRADING

When registering your team, please select the division that best reflects the level you expect your team to compete at: Division 1, Division 2, Social.

Please note that selecting a division during registration does not guarantee placement in that division. WaiBOP will conduct grading rounds where required, and teams may be placed in a different division to the one selected during registration to ensure appropriate and competitive matches.

WAITLIST & TEAM ENTRY

If a competition is oversubscribed, teams will be contacted by email and advised if they have been placed on a waitlist.

Returning teams may be given priority where appropriate.

WaiBOP reserves the right to decline team entry where competition capacity, grading requirements or other operational considerations require it.

REGISTERING MULTIPLE TEAMS

If you are registering multiple teams, you do not need to complete a separate registration process from the beginning for each team.

Once you have submitted your first team entry, you will be given the option to: + ADD NEW TEAM. Select this option to register your additional teams.

TEAMS WITHOUT A CLUB OR SCHOOL

Teams that are not affiliated with a club or school can select: WaiBOP Futsal as their organisation when completing the registration form.
