The Youth Futsal Championships bring together the best young futsal players from across Aotearoa New Zealand to compete for national honours.

The tournament showcases the country’s most promising youth talent and provides an exciting platform for the next generation of futsal players to shine on the national stage.

WaiBOP is pleased to announce the appointment of 4Z Academy of Futsal and FC Tauranga Moana to oversee the Waikato Rapids and Bay of Plenty Surge programmes respectively for the 2026 Youth Futsal Championships.

Our region will be sending 12 teams to the 2026 Youth Futsal Championships, held in Christchurch in December. 
The Waikato Rapids is managed by 4Z Academy of Futsal and the Bay of Plenty Surge is managed by FC Tauranga Moana. 

2007 & 2008 Born: U19 Boys and Girls
2009 & 2010 Born: U17 Boys and Girls
2011 & 2012 Born: U15 Boys and Girls
